Consorzio RFX is the institution organizing LAPD14, the 14th Symposium on Laser-Aided Plasma Diagnostics.

LAPD14 is the continuation of a biennal series of Conferences, started in 1983 at Kyushu University, Japan and alternately organized in Japan, Europe and USA. The LAPD symposia bring togheter a selected number of scientists from different disciplines, active in the field of laser-aided diagnostics of low temperature plasmas, industrial and processing plasmas, nuclear fusion plasmas and plasma diagnostics related hardware development, and is an unique and important occasion of cross fertilization between these fields. The participation is by invitation and is restricted to about 70 scientists. The location and the organization of LAPD meetings are chosen in order to favour as much as possible mutual interactions and discussion between participants so that everyone has the maximum access to the work and results of others.

LAPD14 is held in Castelbrando, Treviso, Italy, from September 21st to 24th, 2009.
