
On his way back from ITER, His Excellency Kakita Yasuyoshi, the Japanese Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology – MEXT, visited the RFX laboratory in Padua on Friday 21 November.


Accompanied by the Scientific Attaché of the Japanese Embassy, Mr. Nakade Masahiro; the Third Office of Research and Promotion Deputy Director, Mr. Taniguchi Masaki; QST NB Heating Technology Group Leader Mr. Tobari-san; and Mr. Roberto Cimino from the Directorate-General for Internationalization of the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research, His Excellency visited the Neutral Beam Test Facility, seeing first-hand the work underway on SPIDER and MITICA, and the technological advancements achieved through ongoing activities in view of the ITER Neutral Beam Injector.
