SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION FOR ENERGY TRANSITION
The University of Padua has a long tradition of research in thermonuclear fusion science and technology. In this context, a historic collaboration is active with the National Research Council. CNR together with ENEA, INFN, the University of Padua and the Acciaierie Venete spa is partner of the Consorzio RFX that hosts one of the largest research infrastructures in the global panorama on fusion research.
The event “Fusion research in Padua. Science, technology and education for energy transition.” will take place on 21 November 2022, at 15:00, in Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo, via 8 febbraio Padua. It is intended to be a showcase for the University and CNR scientific commitment in fusion research in Padua and an opportunity for the Padua academic community and citizens for dissemination on the development of a CO2-free source of energy that is crucial for the future energy transition.
