At Consorzio RFX we have around 200 employees divided between researchers, technicians and administrative personnel.
In this period of public health emergency, work at Consorzio RFX is not suspended thanks to a diligent personnel management and prevention plan.

From the 4th of May 2020, after the go-ahead from the Government, the activities at Consorzio RFX were able to restart. Laboratories and construction sites have been reopened and the experimental campaigns have been restarted, in particular those of the SPIDER experiment.
Between June and August 2020, attendance fluctuated between 30 and 35%. From September 2020 there has been a peak of in-presence work at 55%, which returned to below 50% in December 2020. Currently, the attendance is between 55% and 60%.

Competitions
In memory of Paolo Piovesan, researcher of Consorzio RFX and of the Ionized Gas Institute-ISTP of CNR, who died prematurely in 2019, Consorzio RFX has launched a competition for the assignment of a prize of the amount of 2000 Euros for the best thesis doctorate in the field of Fusion Plasma Physics.
